A good pub is all about the hosts, and a great bar is created by the ambience it creates and the company it keeps...

At the White Horse, the two are perfectly combined with the assistance of Tara and Danny. The bar is a popular meeting place for villagers, where you are likely to find lively debate and good bonhomie in good measure.

Guests are welcome to join the regulars beneath the low, oak beamed ceilings, by the open log fireplace, and in surroundings that reflect country pursuits.

Children and dogs are more than welcome to our pub and during summer months our beautiful gardens provide an excellent back drop to the village but we do request they are kept on leads at all times whilst in the bar (that's the dogs, not the children!)

We offer a wide range of local ales as well as a superb selection of fines wines from Tara's cellar selection
